Welcome to "its Bloomin Organic !"
So we come to the end of our first season, and although we have a few things planted for next year, our focus is to get the plot ready for next year. And there is lots to be done. Trees behind the allotment have been cut down, massively increasing the light but also giving us wood for mushrooms. We have moved about 180 tonnes of manure, covered all the beds to be, in cardboard, a good layer of manure and then covered with black plastic. below is our story so far..
Produce Supply for Food Banks
After growing on a small patch for ten weeks, we began to harvest fresh top quality, beyond organic food for dover pantry (registered charity) we have been able to supply them every week through the summer. we managed to prepare 30 square meters, the entire plot is 600 square meters. so next year we will be supplying as many foodbanks as possible.

So, Its just us two, and for the last few years we have put our own money into this project. We began on an allotment, and when we lost that we felt so blessed to find The Fifth Trust and Green banks .Now we are looking for help. We need help funding our next stage, we are trying to buy good quality polly tunnel. our Wday to day cost and everything we have purchased so far has been out of our own pockets. Hopefully the paperwork will be in order for the charity commission soon, but in the meantime we are going to open a go fund me page with the link below. any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
